NOTES: I have seen this watch identified elsewhere as the Commentator based on the case shape. However, the Commentator is consistently shown in the ads with a white dial. One other model, besides the Commentator, is identified in the G-S catalog for 1943 as taking this crystal, and that is the Gallahad. Therefore, I have tentatively identified this watch as the Gallahad.
