NOTES: The distinctive case shape on this watch has, so far, only been seen on the Mastermatic. However, it should be noted that the dial on the subject watch does not match the ad, which could indicate simply a variant dial or a different model altogether. The watch was made in Germany--as evidenced by the inside markings--and does not bear the normal Bulova case date code. It also has an atypical case signature, usually seen only in the all stainless steel models.
