NOTES: This digital quartz watch is Swiss made as stated on the dial and inside the case. Correspondence with Bulova corporate headquarters in the US has revealed that, during the 1970s, the Swiss office was responsible for their own watch own designs. Subsequently, the Swiss office closed, leaving no records of the watches produced there. The Swiss office is now open again, but no records of the vintage production remains, and all inquiries regarding previous productions are referred to the US office for a response. This watch was purchased from a professional jeweler, who believes that the watch dates to 1979, and the model number is 8013, as printed on the back of the case. So, for now, I will rely on that information to identify this watch.
