NOTES: Interestingly, this watch takes the same crystal as the 1955 Ranger, which was tentatively identifed on crystal specs alone. That means that either there were two Rangers taking the same crystal, or one of them is a different model, and there is no basis for calling either of them the Ranger without a supporting ad. For now, I'm going to leave this on as an unknown and the other model as the Ranger, with the hope that the Library of Congress will reveal an advertisement that will clear up the confusion.
