NOTES: I am tentatively naming this model an Oakley, though it does not match the ad in a couple of respects. The case and crystal size and shape, however, are an exact match to the Oakley. The variations seen in this model--no subseconds dial and an engraved bezel--are consistent with the variations seen in many other models of the mid-to-late 1930s. It was standard practice during this time to keep the model name the same while changing aspects of the watch such as 1) the presence or absence of engraving, 2) dial color, 3) numbering style, and 4) the presence or absence of a subseconds dial.
